While as a team, we’re fiercely passionate about the collector cars we’re privileged to encounter on a daily basis here at Girardo & Co., we’re also mindful of the global climate crisis and the urgent need to take better care of our planet.
And more so since relocating from the city to our rural Oxfordshire headquarters Belchers Farm, where the joys of biodiversity are, quite literally, on our doorstep.
Our founder Max Girardo has always been something of an eco-warrior and is especially keen on safeguarding the environment for future generations. Max has already planted 1,000 trees on a swathe of grassland here on the farm, as well as over two miles of young hedgerows.
And there are many more similarly thoughtful environmental plans for Girardo & Co. headquarters afoot…
Of course, we’re well aware that there is a greater battle to be won. And that’s why we’ve decided to give something back and join the burgeoning 1% for the Planet movement.
We’ll be donating one percent of our turnover to great environmental causes, both locally here in Oxfordshire and on a broader national level.
The first charity we’re delighted to be teaming up with is The Earth Trust.

With five nature reserves in the nearby towns of Wallingford, Abingdon and Didcot here in Oxfordshire, The Earth Trust is dedicated to championing accessible natural green spaces by way of sustainable land management and education.
Their goal? Increased biodiversity and meaningful engagement with the public in order to inspire and empower actionable change for the benefit of the planet.
In addition to our monetary contribution, Team Girardo & Co. will be volunteering its own time to assist the hundreds of Earth Trust’s other essential volunteers with various environmental tasks. Who says we don’t get our hands dirty?
