The London Classic Car Show kicked off in Syon Park today. Our very own Max Girardo was invited by the event’s organisers to be interviewed by Tiff Needell about his life in cars…

Isn’t it great to be out and about at car events again? The London Classic Car Show began today at the picturesque Syon Park in West London today. As part of the organisers’ ‘My Life In Cars’ series of live conversations at the show, Max Girardo was invited to be interviewed by the famous racing driver and TV personality Tiff Needell. The pair were on great form, covering all manner of topics from Max’s beginnings in the classic car industry to founding Girardo & Co. and, of course, his personal tastes when it comes to cars.

Elsewhere, as part of the display marking the 60th anniversary of the Jaguar E-type, we took our E-type S1 3.8 Roadster. And lo and behold, the sun even shone long enough for us to drop the roof! Below are some images of the day taken by the photographer Rob Cooper. In a few weeks’ time, we’ll be back out in force at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking a whopping five predominantly rally cars to be driven either up the hill or around the rally stage. We’re looking forward to meeting many of you then!Photos: Robert Cooper for Girardo & Co.
