“Hi everybody, Max here. With exactly one month to go until Salon Rétromobile in Paris, we’d ordinarily be beavering away at this time, frantically preparing to present 13 of history’s greatest road and race cars at the world-famous exhibition. Regrettably, this year that’s no longer the case. The highly volatile nature of the coronavirus pandemic shows no clear sign of abating and travel remains complex and unpredictable. As a direct result of this, we have followed the suit of a number of other high-profile exhibitors and withdrawn our official presence at Rétromobile in February.

“It was certainly not an easy decision to make, especially given how far we’d got with our preparations for the event. The response to our call for consignments, for example, was overwhelming – we asked and you definitely delivered, clearly anticipating the collector car world’s return to Paris as eagerly as us. But now knowing that so many of you, our clients, partners and friends, will be unable to make it to Rétromobile was simply too bitter a pill for us to swallow. After all, first-hand interaction is arguably the most important aspect of any event.

“Rest assured, we’ll be reinvesting the time and energy into a plethora of other projects designed to connect with you wherever you may be in the world. Oh, and it goes without saying that we have some phenomenal cars waiting in the wings.
