We’ll throw it out there: there is no modern car in which we’d prefer to cover cross-country distances than the Ferrari GTC4Lusso. The Prancing Horse’s V12-powered 2+2 Grand Tourers have always been mightily special cars. But thanks to a cutting-edge suite of dizzyingly complicated electronic systems and features, the GTC4Lusso boasts a level of real-world versatility its predecessors could only dream of. Loping along continental motorways?

It’s perfect. Dawdling around town? No sweat. Attacking a twisting mountain pass? It’ll corner in a manner a car of this size frankly has any right to. Because rear-wheel steer. Naturally, whether you’re dawdling or dancing, the commanding 681bhp 6.3-litre V12 still dominates the driving experience. It’s a masterpiece: tractable and refined yet sharp and, if required, savage. As you can imagine, it sounds sensational.

Finally there’s the cabin. A marked improvement over the preceding FF, it’s genuinely spacious, supremely comfortable and, with the panoramic roof fitted, airy and light. When it was launched Ferrari banged on about the car’s new ‘Dual-Cockpit Architecture’. In this instance the marketing spiel couldn’t have been more warranted. As Top Gear magazine said after driving the GTC4Lusso, “No Grand Tourer seats four people in more comfort”.

This right-hand-drive GTC4Lusso V12 was delivered to its first owner via Maranello Concessionaires in December of 2018. The car was finished in the timeless colour combination of Blu Tour de France over a Cuoio leather and Alcantara interior. The latter is contrasted beautifully with Blu stitching, including the embroidered Cavallino Rampante emblems on the headrests.

There was hardly a box on the factory optional-extras form that wasn’t ticked when it came to this car. We’ll list the complete itemised specification below, but the options that especially drew our attention include the panoramic roof, nose lift, carbon-fibre driver zone, passenger display and the ventilated full-electric seats.

This wonderfully equipped GTC4Lusso has covered a mere 9,100 miles since it was delivered and has been routinely serviced by Ferrari main dealers – most recently in 2023, when HR Owen Ferrari carried out a major service that included replacement of the engine ancillary belts and DCT gearbox oil. The car is delivered fresh from a main-dealer service and fitted with four new Pirelli tyres.

Given its low mileage and the diligent maintenance of its handful of owners, this Ferrari remains in exceptional condition throughout. It is accompanied by its leather documents pouch, Ferrari battery trickle charger, tools, tyre-repair kit and Ferrari car cover.
