Three private owners from new, with its first owner for nearly 20 years!
Recently fully serviced and presented in stunning condition
Displaying less than 43,000 KMs
Number 111 of only 400 'Martini 5' special edition examples manufactured
The
stunning Lancia Delta was first seen at the 1979 Frankfurt Motor Show where it
was immediately admired. The Delta was best known for its domination of the
World Rally Championship in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Lancia
celebrated their fifth consecutive Constructors World Championship with the
release of this special edition ‘Martini 5’ at the end of the 1991 season. The
car is finished with the iconic Martini stripes running down each side and
around the tailgate, which is also fitted with the all-important World Rally
Champion badge. Inside, the Recaro seats and interior trim were finished in a
beautiful dark grey Alcantara with red stitching in the centre sections, and
red seat belts.
The example
we are offering today is one of the most iconic and sought-after road-going
Integrales produced, a Bianco ‘Martini 5’ with less than 43,000 kms on the
clock and number 111 of only 400 examples produced. The car was registered on
the 11th September 1992 to its first owner, Mr Alvaro Nanni, in Ravenna and to
this day retains its original owners’ manual and service book. In 1992 this car
cost 50,420,167 Italian Lire!
After
nearly 20 years of ownership, Mr Nanni sold the car to a Verona resident, Mr
Giannantonio Bussinello in May 2012. After 12 months Mr Bussinello applied for
a Certificate of Identity form the ACI, which was issued in November 2013.
Prior to our purchase in 2016, this fabulous Martini 5 had only one additional
private owner.
In 2015 the
car received a full service including the below works:
Renew
cam-belt
Renew spark
plugs
Renew oil
and oil filter
Renew
clutch slave cylinder
Reconditioning
of the turbo
The Lancia
Delta Integrale is a legend both on and off road, and the much-admired Martini
livery only adds to the cars desirability. This is an opportunity to acquire
one of the rally world’s most iconic cars in a very well-preserved, hugely
original condition, celebrating Lancia’s sensational fifth consecutive World
Rally Championship.
