SOLD | 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione 1 'Martini 5'

Chassis no. ZLA831AB000567918

The stunning Lancia Delta was first seen at the 1979 Frankfurt Motor Show where it was immediately admired. The Delta was best known for its domination of the World Rally Championship in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Lancia celebrated their fifth consecutive Constructors World Championship with the release of this special edition ‘Martini 5’ at the end of the 1991 season. The car is finished with the iconic Martini stripes running down each side and around the tailgate, which is also fitted with the all-important World Rally Champion badge. Inside, the Recaro seats and interior trim were finished in a beautiful dark grey Alcantara with red stitching in the centre sections, and red seat belts.

The example we are offering today is one of the most iconic and sought-after road-going Integrales produced, a Bianco ‘Martini 5’ with less than 16,000 kms on the clock and number 240 of only 400 examples produced. The car was delivered on the 2nd April 1992 to its first owner in Nespoli and to this day retains its original tool kit and owners’ manual.

Since arriving at Girardo & Co. earlier this year, we have fitted four new tyres, had the car fully detailed and serviced which included the below works by Lancia Delta specialists, Walkers Garage Ltd:

Replace engine timing belts

Change engine oil and filter

Replace air and fuel filters

Replace spark plugs

Change gearbox and differential oils

Change and flush brake fluid

Change power assisted steering fluid

Replace exhaust centre pipe and rear silencer with stainless steel parts

The Lancia Delta Integrale is a legend both on and off road, and the much-admired Martini livery only adds to the cars desirability. This is an opportunity to acquire one of the rally world’s most iconic cars in a very well-preserved, hugely original condition, celebrating Lancia’s sensational fifth consecutive World Rally Championship.
