SOLD | 1969 Lamborghini Islero S
The Lamborghini Islero S
The Lamborghini Islero debuted at the 1968 Geneva Auto Show, with a 3.9 litre V12 engine and five-speed manual gearbox. Perceived as a more conventional design, less aggressive than the Miura and Espada by Bertone, the Carrozzeria Marazzi designed Islero was a more refined way to travel.
The production is split into two series, the Islero, and the Islero S which benefitted from an additional 25 bhp and several styling changes including an enlarged hood scoop, although this only supplied air to the cabin, not the engine! The fenders on the S were slightly flared with larger brakes
